“They denounced that the authorities do not listen to their requests and demanded that the conflict be resolved since their way of life is being affected.”
Small poultry producers from Cochabamba protested this Thursday by discarding their chickens, killed by lack of food, and also throwing eggs in front of the Government. They demand that the conflict that keeps the roads blocked be resolved.
The producers complained that, due to the blockades, they do not have food for the chickens, for which they are dying of hunger, reported Radio Pío XII of the Erbol Network.
They said that they are also prevented from going out to sell their products in the markets and that they no longer even have egg maples.
They denounced that the authorities do not listen to their requests and demanded that the conflict be resolved since their way of life is being affected.
The poultry farmers recalled that they are part of a productive chain in which not only they benefit, but they also generate indirect jobs with the sale, transportation, or other activities related to the item.
Three days ago, the dairymen of Cochabamba also made a similar protest, launching their damaged product in the Governor’s Office due to the lack of a solution to the conflict.
