The midfielder Óscar Rodríguez will play the next five seasons at Sevilla after the agreement reached by the Andalusian club with Real Madrid, which had his file and which had been transferred to Leganés in the previous two seasons.
Sevilla reported in a statement that it has reached an agreement with Real Madrid “for midfielder Óscar Rodríguez -Talavera de la Reina, June 28, 1998- to become a new player for the Nervionense entity.”
The Seville club points out that Óscar González’s most prominent position in the midfield “is in the offensive field, as a midfielder, although he has also developed as a pure midfielder, sometimes even as an interior.”
“Óscar Rodríguez, a Madrid youth squad who started in the Second Division B with the Whites, has played the last two seasons on loan at CD Leganés, where he has played a total of 64 games, scoring thirteen goals and distributing six assists”.
