The number of infections is still rising sharply, to more than 1700 today. That is why Prime Minister Rutte addressed the country on three channels simultaneously in a so-called 'address the nation'.
Many measures have been presented in the Netherlands in recent days. Schools, catering establishments and sports clubs are closed until 6 April. Events with more than 100 visitors have been canceled and people have to work from home as much as possible.
